Developing change from within

Hypnosis is a creative, empowering way to achieve lasting change in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and can aide the body’s ability to positively respond to medical treatment. Hypnosis allows the participant to focus inward, to access the subconscious mind for these changes to occur. In Hypnosis, you will never do anything against your moral code or belief system or even allow yourself to be hypnotized if you feel unsafe.  And that means All Hypnosis is Self Hypnosis.  Hypnosis has been used for:

  • Pain Management

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Phobia’s (Fears)

  • Sports Performance

  • Creativity

  • Preparation for Surgery

  • Rapid Healing

  • Weight Control

  • Insomnia

  • Addictions, Smoking, Food or Substance

AND MORE…

In your first session you can expect:

A detailed interview will take place after you complete a questionnaire. It is important to know the reason for your visit and also any underlying emotional or physical concerns you may have. Once the interview is completed, there is a brief educational time.

The definition of hypnosis is:
“A natural, yet altered state where selective thinking is maintained.”

And this means your focus is more internal than external.
As you understand this natural state and have any questions or concerns answered, it enables you to feel safe using this process, and to understand how the subconscious mind works. It is within the subconscious that lasting change occurs, which produces a lasting difference in your feelings and behaviors.

Once the educational piece is completed, we will begin the trance work. Responses to trance include deep relaxation, or a light feeling and sometimes the skin feeling tingly. There are many therapies that can be utilized in hypnosis. We will decide them together before trance so that you feel safe and fully informed.

After the trance is completed, there are a few minutes to discuss your experience and the next steps that need to be taken. Homework is assigned, which may include positive affirmations to read and write, self-visualization daily of your goal and listening to a self-hypnosis recording. Your participation in your change and transformation is vital. The more one utilizes hypnosis on a regular basis, the greater the results.

Due to many inquiries and questions about hypnosis, I developed my own webpage. For more detailed information to include case studies go to SandyDrenner.com.

A few weeks ago, I was preparing for the biggest test of my life. My nerves were on edge, and I was unable to sleep for days due to this test. I worked with Sandra Drenner for hypnotherapy to relieve the anxiety. The entire process was incredibly relaxing and left me feeling like I could conquer the world. Two days later, I took my test, no anxieties, no stress, just pure calmness; I passed my test with only missing 3 questions! I don’t think that I could have done so well without Sandra’s help. Her skills, reminders, and calming effect stayed with me throughout the entire test and I finished two hours early. Sandra is very gifted in what she is passionate about most, and I couldn’t thank her more for all of her help.
